NEW CONSTRUCTION

Location:
In terms of macro-location, the subject site belongs to the administrative block within Block 3, adjacent to the Higher Court, AD Železnice Srbije (Serbian Railways), and the local tax administration. Cadastral parcel no. 1692/2, cadastral municipality Požarevac, is located on the northern side of Block 3 and represents the boundary between administrative and multi-family residential areas. The building is designed along the regulatory line, with access provided from the side, specifically from the parking area.

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
The newly designed building is a free-standing structure with a ground floor plus two upper floors (G+2), with a total gross floor area (GFA) of 703.00 m².
The building is organized so that the ground floor is designed to accommodate individuals with disabilities and elderly people, as the ground floor includes spaces intended for public use, while the upper floors are designed as offices for employees.

According to the requirements of the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments in Smederevo, the subject location is within the boundaries of a building previously under protection. The architectural design of the Misdemeanor Court in Požarevac is intended to reflect the context of the immediate surroundings, which is influenced by the existing building of the Tax Administration.

Since the façade decoration of the Tax Administration building is in the Art Deco style, the main characteristics of this style have been carried over to the Misdemeanor Court building. The façade of the Misdemeanor Court is designed with a clear and clean vertical division, using different materials, while the prominent cornice is directly taken from the Tax Administration building.
