DR Laza Lazarević – Day hospital

The facility arose from the idea of ​​integrating the existing facilities of the day hospital and dispensary within the psychiatric clinic “Dr. Laza Lazarevic”, into a single space. The layout of the building is determined by the existing condition, respecting the visure in relation to the existing building “Doctor’s Tower”, which represents a cultural monument of great importance.
In this sense, the building was designed in such a way as not to disturb the relations in the space, but also to preserve the existing green fund, which is of exceptional importance for the location in question.
The functional organization is solved in a horizontal sense. The design of the building is expressed on the facade in both horizontal and vertical volume.
