Cultural Center Milanovac

The architectural design of the building was taken over and is based on the existing conceptual solution. By forming a glass cube on the southeast side, the existing architectural complex, which belongs to the modern period from the beginning of the sixties, was adapted with a tendency towards Hi-tech architecture. By adding a circular annex on the northwest side, the existing rectangular base was broken both in the horizontal and in the vertical volume. In this sense, the distinctive internal organization came to the fore, which already at first glance hints to visitors that it is a cultural object.
The interior design is reduced to simpler forms that follow the functional organization.
