Centar za razvoj sporta i edukaciju omladine Vojvodine – „Letenka“, Fruška gora
The complex of buildings “Letenka” is located on the territory of the municipality of Sremska Mitrovica, on
cadastral plots No. 727/4, 729/3 and 2252/3 K.O. Šuljam on Fruška Gora. The location is known for its clean air, beautiful nature and rich animal life. “Letenka” is located at an altitude of 456 meters, and is surrounded by forest and meadows. It is well connected with roads that lead to Belgrade, Novi Sad and all major cities of Vojvodina.
A project was prepared for implementation based on conceptual solutions developed by the company “PRO-ING” LTD from Novi Sad, where architect Dragana Banjnin, was signed as the responsible designer. The complex consists of several buildings in accordance with the purpose. It consists of a sports hall with outdoor courts, pavilions for children and an infirmary with accompanying facilities. They are architecturally shaped in a way that corresponds to the ambience of the climate, with a distinct vertical volume and playful sloping roof planes. The fit with the external environment is additionally emphasized by the use of natural materials.
