Demolition of existing buildings in the complex “Novi Nis”
For the construction of the future complex “Novi Niš” in the former barracks “Bubanjski heroji” it was necessary to demolish the existing buildings with a total developed area of about 20,000 m2. The buildings are from different periods of construction, and therefore different structures, structural assembly and materialization, which represented a special challenge in terms of demolition technology. The main request of the investors was to apply the principles of “green construction”. This meant that during the demolition, all the material should be separated, for possible further use, i.e. recycling. In addition, all measures to protect the surrounding exceptionally rich green fund and land in the immediate vicinity were applied.
