Čegar Monument
At the request of the investor, a conceptual design was prepared for the landscaping of the site of historic significance from the First Serbian Uprising – Čegar, as part of the process to establish technical protection conditions issued by the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments of Niš (ZZSK Niš).
The landscape design is planned for the immediate surroundings of the monument located on the Čegar hill, near the village of Kamenica, northeast of the city of Niš. The Čegar Monument was erected at the site of the famous battle from the First Serbian Uprising and is classified as an immovable cultural asset of exceptional importance.
The landscaping project applies to cadastral parcels no. 6495, 1686/2, and part of 7986/2, cadastral municipality of Kamenica, City Municipality of Niš.
In accordance with the investor’s requirements, a landscape design solution was developed to visually improve the overall surroundings of the monument, with minimal intervention in the natural environment.
