Elementary School “Karađorđe” in Rača

For the needs of the reconstruction and extension of the “Karađorđe” Elementary School building, in Rača, an urban solution concept was created with the aim of forming a unique area of ​​public purpose in the field of elementary education. Respecting the basic requirements from the program task, the space for this purpose represents a unique whole, where the reconstruction and addition of school facilities and the formation of sports and recreational content are foreseen within the subject location. Green areas on the plots in question within the scope of the urban project also have an important role in completing the natural picture and a pleasant stay for teaching and working with children. In search of a solution that will reconstruct the existing and form new capacities of the primary education institution, a concept was designed that simultaneously combines new functions with the old, and creates conditions for simple communication and access to the youngest users within the scope of the urban project.
