Residential Building No. 26 in the “Novi Niš” Complex

Residential Building No. 26 in the “Novi Niš” Complex

In terms of architecture and design, the building was designed as a modern and contemporary residential complex. Through the design and application of appropriate materials, the building’s ambient communication with the future climate and the immediate natural environment was achieved. When it comes to horizontal and vertical regulation, the object has a complex form, composed of two square forms that form two lamellas and which join each other, with the dominant axis extending in the west-east direction, as dictated by the location, but in such a way that each side of the object has at least two orientations. The building has 2 underground floors + ground level + 6 floors (two basements, ground floor and six floors). Access is achieved in the area of the south and north sides through the main entrance, which is on the north side of the building, and the auxiliary entrance on the south side, where an entrance for the disabled is provided. Bearing in mind that the terrain is constantly falling towards the northern side of the plot, the building is integrated into the unevenness of the terrain and is aligned with the leveling of future roads.
