Location:
The building is located on cadastral parcel no. 2096, cadastral municipality Srbobran, in the wider central core of Srbobran, north of the Orthodox Church and Freedom Square. The parcel is rectangular in shape, situated on flat terrain, with its shorter side facing the public road, Sveti Sava Street. The total area of the parcel is 1,493 m².
The residential building currently used by the Srbobran Public Library was originally the home of the prominent Gavanski family of Srbobran, built in 1901. The entire building now functions as a library, including administrative offices and supporting facilities.
PROPOSED TECHNICAL CONSERVATION MEASURES
The reconstruction and renovation of the building include a set of works aimed at restoring its appearance, in accordance with the requirements of the investor and current regulations for this type of facility. Above all, the spatial composition and the authentic exterior appearance of the building will be fully preserved.
